Lost in transit

I’m in Singapore. I’m flying for a meeting of some kind. But end up stuck without my phone, after a series of misunderstandings. At one point I’m lost on the wrong side of town and borrow a Pennyfarthing to race through pedestrian malls and walkways. I have to get off the bike and push it when I spot a cop coming the other way. Then have to climb around the boat and down a winch… trying to make it back to the airport in time. During this – the location seems to have changed Auckland, but the situation is the same. I stop for directions. A couple of sisters take me in. And eventually offer me a bed for the night. They’re nice. I’m in the bedroom of the younger one, getting changed under the sheets, twin beds. I think I borrow a pair of her track pants and end up having to discreetly dispose of a bit of spiky arse fluff out of the window! Mine not hers! She’s a bit worried about my intentions to begin with but after a bit of a chat she’s happy let me stay. I tell her that I will leave if it’s before 10 pm and check my watch, it’s 35 seconds after 10, I think we’re going have have a good talk before we get to sleep…
