There was a universe in which you could do anything you wanted without dying by holding up a mirror horizontally facing downwards at the middle of your face. I somehow considered this a possibility before it was known for sure and jumped from the window of a building holding a mirror to my face, which allowed me to survive the jump. From that moment on, I existed in the reality where this truth about using mirrors to avoid death was discovered (But somehow another reality simultaneously existed before the point where I jumped from the window, a reality in which this wasn't discovered. In that reality I was walking on a rope inside a room that was secured at the height of the bottom of the window I jumped from. I think I was trying to escape from someone. I cut the rope at window and somehow that branched the reality off so that I still had the version of myself before jumping saved just in case the mirror trick didn't work). In the new reality, I saw an image of myself talking about the mirror trick discovery from a third person perspective. I was standing at a table outdoors in a public place and wearing a labcoat. People in that reality were walking around with mirrors held up to their faces. I think they were somehow using them to generate versions of themselves with more symmetrical faces.
