a quiet place

(Disclaimer: I’ve never seen a quiet place before) My sister and I were hiding from the monsters that can hear you but not see you (??). We found a house where two other people were hiding out and we stayed with them for a while. But then one of the monsters found us and we had to escape quietly. After that we got separated, and my sister and I found our way to our grandma’s house, where our cousin and her nieces and nephews were hiding out. It was actually pretty fun being there with everyone; we just had to be quiet. After a while though, the monsters found us again and our escape was not as successful. As soon as we were about to be attacked, a group of monster hunters showed up and explained that there were three types of monsters that had to be dealt with in different ways. The first type was called “twinkle toes”, and these monsters were blind but they could hear really well. They were tall and pale and lanky, and they looked very gaunt. You had to hide and be very careful around these monsters. I don’t remember what the second type of monster was called, but they looked a lot like gremlins mixed with goblins. They were really small and hairy. The hunters told us that they were the easiest to deal with, and you could get rid of them by just kicking them. The third type of monster was the scariest. It was basically like the symboites from the movie venom. They would take people over and pretend to be those people so that they could get close to others and kill them. These were the most dangerous monsters and you could not do anything to hurt them. You just had to run away and hope they didn’t catch you. After the hunters explained the monster types to us, we basically turned our grandma’s house into the Home Alone house, and defeated the monsters that came for us.
