I woke up super tired and decided to try the WILD technique on a whim. With my eyes closed, I began counting and quickly realized I was paralyzed. I kept my eyes shut because I usually experience sleep paralysis by now. Then there was a small opening in the darkness. It looked as if I've slightly opened my eyes but something was off. At first I found myself lying on my bed but the room was filled with a dark blue mist. I quickly did a reality check and realized I was dreaming. I was so happy it worked so fast but everything was dim. Springing to action, I tried leaving the room but the door was locked. Np, I should be able to walk through it. I've done it before but it didn't work this time. I tried the wall next to it but no luck. I pushed off the ground and flew to ceiling but I couldn't phase through that either. Frustrated, I gave up on the walls and doors. The window should work flawlessly, right? I tried to psych myself up. I kept telling myself believe believe believe as I floated towards the window. The room was still dark but I could see a fair amount of light coming through the window which got brighter the more I approached. Eventually my vision went completely white but I was through the window. I felt my feet touch the ground. There was empty nothingness all around me. Only white ambient light as far as I can see. I did a quick spin hoping to teleport out of there. When I stopped, I noticed the night sky above me. It was a pleasant change but the land was still flat, blank, and infinitely empty. I turned around and saw a woman with her back turn towards me. She was a bit far away. I called out but she didn't answer. I took a few steps still calling out but I noticed I wasn't closing the distance. It was hard to tell with no surroundings. I jumped up and tried to fly to her but got tunnel vision and then darkness. That's all I remember. I think I lost focus and ended up dreaming, regularly. I definitely don't recall waking up right after that but I don't remember the dream I had after.
