So Cold

I was somewhere cold, a place of which I do not know the name nor location. Everything was white, and awfully empty. Looking around I could see I was completely alone, not an object or human in sight. Normally I love being alone, but this was a diffrent type of loneliness. It felt like my world had come to an end, and everyone in it had left too; I felt this terrible ache in my chest. Everything was silent, but there was suddenly this voice that casually called out, "Hey!" I turned around and seen someone off in the distance running towards me. I was so happy that I wasn't alone anymore, but it was too good to be true. the floor between me and the person started crumbling and collapsing into what looked like lava. I ran, leaving the person behind, and when I knew I was at a safe distance I looked behind me to see complete emptiness once again.
