Winter Wonderland

Date: 5/10/2023

I’m just getting home from babysitting when I find a bunch of toy cars in the pockets of my jeans. There are three in the left pocket and two in the right one. I wonder when Eric or Peyton put them in there. I check all the cars to see if any of them happen to be the one that Eric lost at the park earlier today (in real life). I’m in a vacation home in New York (it might actually be Aunt Lauren’s house) and it’s late at night. I try to sneak downstairs to let Lilo out, but she gets the zoomies and starts sprinting up and down the steps. I’m scared that she’s going to wake someone up, but when we get to the front door, I see my mom walking up with a few people—one of them is Uncle Sam (my Aunt Bridget’s ex-husband). I haven’t seen him in years (in real life) and he’s always been so nice, so I’m really delighted to see him. I give him a long hug and tell him how nice it is to see him. I tell him “It’s been way too long!” I wonder if this will make the rest of my family uncomfortable, but I don’t really care… Now it’s suddenly daytime and the rest of my mom’s side of the family, along with Blane and Alex, are all piled into the living room. We’re all about to leave to go to some sort of “winter wonderland” experience (which sounds like something Aunt Lauren would plan in real life)… We’re at the experience now and I look around to see giant candy canes through the area. Johnny and James are already acting crazy and I hope that they don’t get out of hand… It’s nighttime again I’m upstairs in a room with Blane, Alex, and (possibly) Caity. I’m getting my makeup ready to go out for drinks with Caity. By the time I finish getting ready, I notice that it’s already 11:45pm. I tell her that I need to get up early the next morning to go back home so we should probably skip out on going out. She agrees and says she needs to get up early too for work.
