walking and 4 yr old

I was walking down elm street in biddeford. I seen this 4 yr old I know walking alone. I told him to come with me. we found his mom. I asked her why she was letting her 4 yr old walk alone in biddeford. She acted like she didn't know he was alone. She than proceeded to show us her new place. what annoyed me was that she not only acted like she didn't care about her son being alone and that her home was always clean enough to eat off the floors. yet it was messy.
