Weird science teacher

My science professor who looked like one of my photography professors had made this weird device that stuck out of a block of stone and spun around. He let me have a second model of it but after leaving class I realized I couldn’t possibly carry it around for the rest of the day and decided to bring it back to the classroom. When I came back the dome shaped classroom was closed but then the teacher showed up and instead of going straight in just kept talking to me about all kinds of stuff. I felt like he was getting weirdly personal. He stated telling me about some weird movie and went on a rant about it. There was also something about me being in a band with a bunch of old friends except we kept playing muse songs and I was really impressed by my friends piano skills
