Very Busy Gala

I went to a society party/fundraiser at a hermitess' historic home. Got down with a young woman at the photo booth -- she was v drunk and wanted me, so we made out and I spent the rest of the party making sure my girlfriend didn't find out. The girl followed me around, which was worrisome, but she and girlfriend were both drunk so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Two workers at the party got my attention and we got to talking about social issues. One was worried about his pay and wanted a $15 minimum wage. The other was a native man and we talked about Standing Rock. I left the party feeling like I'd forgotten about what was important and gotten distracted from the big work by domestic drama.
