Subterranean Cave

I was walking through a series of caves in an Irish beach called marble hill. I knew there was a lot of caverns beneath where I walked and I couldn’t figure out how they weren’t flooded - as the water level was close to me. The area was completely marble and stunningly smooth. I continued to walk until I found Iain, sitting on a rock in the middle of a tidal pool. I walked over to see him and he was carefully handling 2 Malaysian Centipedes, each 15cm long. I have an innate, congenital fear of centipedes and have no wish to be near them but Iain coxed me into holding them both. He explained how to handle them and that they may bite.. I watched one ready it’s mandibles but the bite never came.
