It was like How I Met Your Mother where my dad was telling me and my brother about our mom who neither of us really remembered. She’d left us when we were kids bs none of us knew where she’d gone. This older lady had taken us all in to live in her house and acted like our grandma. My dad is telling us stories about our mom and then grandma comes over and gives us little tin of trinkets and stuff, explaining that she finally got the people she worked with to release them from evidence or whatever. There were some pictures and documents inside and little pins and necklaces and whatnot and we were all crying so hard because we couldn’t understand why she would just leave us like that. There was pineapple pizza in my brothers tin and we were really sentimental about it for some reason because it was the last thing she’d been eating before she left or something. As I’m looking at all the stuff I somehow connect the dots and I just know where she is, and she’s this lady that I walked past her house all the time but never recognized her. So I tried to go reconcile with her and ended up living on the street outside her house?
