Baby Ducks at Our Shelter

I think the dream first took place where me and 2 other people I don't remember were crouching down and walking fast through a neighborhood. I don't remember if I made this part up, but it felt like a sense of urgency to find proper cover. I get the feeling we were in war and the area has potential to be in danger. I don't remember if we were in America or in Europe. We manage to reach a house and this is where I know it's part of the actual dream and not a made up part. What I don't recall is if this is my house or a safe house. We get inside and it's big with three floors and generally wide. It reminds me of Steve's house's kitchen -- the one we stayed in when we went to London. One of the people who had been coming with me now turns out to be my brother. We go outside despite not feeling totally safe, but at least in a better spot since we've got shelter. Outside it's like our backyard but bigger and more clean. As we look around, we go back inside and yo the front yard where there's a big wooden deck and my mother is there telling us to watch around. Me and my brother take a seat and the owner of the house is there, telling my mother what it's going to take to possibly survive since she's been somewhat self-sufficient. I hang around and watch as the old lady crouched down on the steps and started picking eggs, saying they might not be as nutritious but it's a start. She's picking eggs from pigeon nests. They're big but a little broken and seem to already somehow be boiled but are falling apart. I ask my mom if we can get chickens and she says, "If you pay for them." I tell her, "Well yeah why not? They don't cost much. I don't think in Buchanan we can just buy them all willy-nilly, though. Legally we need to fence them in and that's where it could get expensive." "How much do we need?" my mom asks. I go to the backyard with Michael and we start showing her how big and where we could put it, and then suddenly the kid from "Stranger Things," Lucas, shows up from the neighbor's backyard from behind their shed. He starts saying they can install the fence and we just need to get the fencing itself. While my mom talks to him, me and my brother explore the backyard again and my brother points out ducks! Lots of ducks and also baby ducks! The majority of the dream is spent chasing down these ducks and it gets a bit epic because at some point it feels like it turned into a video game. We don't get them and have to get clever and sneak or trap them. While my brother goes to find temporary fencing since he found a bush where the ducks like to go, I try the sneaking and being fast method and I actually manage to get a duck! I guess my brother must have set up the trap because there's wire fencing around a bush that has quite a few ducks and baby ducks. The duck I have is fully white but with a black band around it's neck and I'm petting and holding it close. It doesn't feel very soft, though. I go inside for my brother to pet it. He doesn't seem willing and so I go outside again and reluctantly set the baby duck free. I go to the trap and am tempted to grab another baby duck but I decide to finally leave them be and look out into the hard where there are still plenty more ducks and their babies roaming around. I go inside and this is where the dream seems to pan into a drone's eye view of the house and the neighborhood and it sounds like the news. "People and soldiers are starting to flood into houses looking for shelter to the point many are sent to sleep outside. With many people, sewers are beginning to flood and are being sent elsewhere with concerns over what impact it could have on the immediate environment." I wake up.
