Was a member of a recon squad in a post apocalyptic zombie nightmare. Our mission was to scout and report the location of the largest horde in relation to our settlement. We came across some wild horses and decided to switch mission priority to capturing a few to brake in later at camp. The stupid part about this dream is the wild horses were white vehicles like pick up trucks and mini vans, yet for some reason I knew they were supposed to be wild horses. Lol they were like vroom vroom, moving over range land in a herd lmao. As we moved into position to take the horses we were ambushed and enveloped by a horde of about 100 zombies. My roll in the recon squad was cartography, so I wasn't exactly outfitted for warfare and was somewhat vulnerable when we got ambushed. I found a pistol, took position behind a burned out car, and started opening fire on the mass of undead as they rushed our position. A high ranking combatant in the recon squad pulled up to the right of my position with a futuristic weapons truck and asked for my assistance in implementing weaponry on the truck. For a while after that, the dream continues from the perspective of the elite combatant that showed up. As the combatant, I was wearing a suit that allowed me to hover and maneuver myself in quick burst of 10 second feats of speed and flight. The man assisting the warrior from the truck (who is my perspective from the beginning of the dream) launched a weapon into the air in front of me. Using my suit in a burst of speed I ended up right next to the weapon in mid air but just out of reach. My suit was equipped with a function that attracted the weapon right into my hand. Now armed with a huge, futuristic gun, I charged headlong into battle, weapon blazing as I advanced. The weapon I caught was an assault rifle with a grenade launcher attached and alone I wiped out an entire advancing line of undead. I ran out of bullets just as out flank was being over run so I burst back to the truck using the suits maneuvering technology and the truck assistant launched a canister filled with ammunition and again it was sucked straight out of the sky and into the empty chambers of the weapon. Re loaded, I charged into the next wave of zombies attacking our flank and with the help of a few others, cut down the remaining threat to 0. After the battle, the recon squad was tallying up the wounded and dead and assessing total damages... I woke up while this was taking place.
