Visiting Universal Studios Great Britain

I was with my parents at the opening day for Universal Studios Great Britain. I went to the ticket desk and asked for three tickets, but then panicked after paying because they had the day's date on and said they could only be used within 24 hours. I asked if it was not possible to use the three tickets for different days, as I bought three thinking this would be possible. The person on the desk spoke to their manager, who agreed that they could be used this way. I went over to my parents, who were confused as they thought I was buying tickets for them as well as me. I explained that I thought they had already bought their tickets, and allowed them to use the ones I had bought for entry. I took a picture of the revolving Universal logo at the entrance of the park. There were two words swirling around the iconic Earth from the logo. The first was the name of the company, 'Universal'. The second was 'Yep, the moment has finally arrived'. I sent the picture to my American friend on Instagram, to trick her into thinking I had travelled to where she was. There was a sign for a McDonald's that was apparently located inside the park. I pointed it out to my parents, and said how it reminded me of how Disneyland Paris has a McDonald's in its Disney Village. We entered the park, and walked through a recreation of the Men In Black Headquarters from the films. Inside the headquarters was a dark ride where you climbed into a ride vehicle that looked like the black car from the films. The ride was a bit similar to the Snow White one at Disneyland Paris. It took you past animatronics of aliens from Men In Black, retelling the story of the first movie. The ride then passed through this massive LED screen, that made it look like the car had smashed through the wall and run over Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. Leaving the ride vehicle, we walked outside, where there was this massive courtyard and tons of people walking around. I looked to my right, where I could see Hogwarts Castle, and where The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was located. I glanced to my left, where I could see Lord Farquad's castle from the Shrek franchise. My parents decided we would go left because it looked most like a castle from Disney parks. As we passed, this giant dragon that looked like one of those dragons from How To Train Your Dragon flew over us. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be a drone or some kind of sophisticated puppet. We entered Lord Farquad's castle, which it turned out was the entrance for a Dreamworks Land. There were rides not just on Shrek, but on other franchises too, like Kung Fu Panda and Monsters VS Aliens. My Dad wasn't too impressed. He thought the park visit had started off well, but he had quickly become bored.
