Audition

I was in a large theater at an open audition that was being attended by many profesional theater companies. I made a friend in one of the girls and we clicked really well. She got up for her audition and absolutely nailed it. Mine was alright, but not spectacular. When everyone had performed, one of the guys running it put all the auditioners in their own corner/section of the room for theater companies to approach them. As I walked to my spot, I passed my boyfriend’s dad who gave me the stupid finger circle thing and laughed. I tried to just ignore him and go to my spot. As I saw everyone else being approached by multiple people, I started worrying about myself. Finally, a blonde woman and her assistant made their way toward me and introduced themselves. My boyfriend’s dad was just sort of hovering in the background, and as I tried to shoo him away, it immediately woke me up. I tried to go back to sleep and the dream did briefly resume, but the theater was mostly empty at this point, the woman gone, and my corner already filled with a science project from the next event that was in the room.
