riding a bike up a hill

I frequently have dreams these days where i am embodying someone else. This "person" I've been embodying is Finn...from adventure time...and i don't know if this symbolizes my personal connection to the character and how i relate to him or the fact that I wish my life could be as carefree as his. Anyways.. The dream was very complicated(as usual) and had a lot of aspects that i understood in my dream but they don't really make sense when i try to make them manifest in the waking world. The two things that i really remember is a part where "Finn" has left Jake behind somewhere to go off biking on "his" own. Its a peaceful morning and I'm riding this old bike thats a bit too small down a slight slope. I can see the path in front of me when suddenly i see a new path leading off to the side. The path goes uphill very steeply. Its not hard to climb it on the bike but i know if I don't try ill go rolling backwards. I gain speed and finally make it to the top but when i reach the summit i skid to a stop and falloff the bike. The hill downwards is VERY steep and VERY far and being afraid of heights in the waking world i panicked. I inched over to edge and look down but I'm mostly thankful that i stopped myself from biking all the way down. This is probably reflective of my habit of avoiding risk. I don't gamble with uncertainty ever and my subconscious seems to be acutely aware of that. The second half of the dream was the more complicated aspect. Basically I'm in a large dungeon being chased by monsters i guess. I come to a large room but I'm sort of standing at the very edge of it almost outside as all the walls have crumbled over time. There room is lit in dark purple shadows and filled with pillars. Hundreds of pillars. Then i see these giant green snakes slithering up the pillars in a uniform design. And then they stop look at me and hiss and i run off. Some of my dreams also have a strange aspect of time in which i cant really tell what happened first. Because according to my memory, it starts out that I'm trying to escape or leave from somewhere and eventually finishes so that i am escaping from somewhere. Its almost as though my dreams are on a loop. There have been points in my life where i was able to replay certain aspects of my dreams because i didn't like how they were going or, almost like someone was talking through a movie, i missed important aspects of the dream but this is different. Its like if i kept sleeping they'd just happen over and over and over. Sometimes even in the dream i cant tell what happens first because its like certain things happen simultaneously but in different places. I quite often dream from an observers stand point as well. I am rarely myself in dreams and rarely dream in first person. Most often its from a third person stand point. Literally.
