Taking Work Home

My apartment kept morphing into public spaces. First a light switch suddenly became a call button for an elevator, and one of my doors became the glass front to this elevator, as a flood of confused people suddenly walked through, and I had to direct them out. Then my living room became the waiting area of a train station, then a breakroom with coffee machine and drawers full of condiments and random personal belongings. Throughout the dream I kept trying to remember to cook chicken for my boyfriend and put the bacon I'd bought in the fridge. The end of the dream was me finally having a moment to breathe and realizing he'd already cooked dinner for both of us.
