Vampire Outbreak

I was in a large building that was being attacked by hordes of mindless feral vampire people. It was like a zombie outbreak. I was with some people my own age and a couple older professor looking people. The beginning kept replaying over and over everyone just trying to escape the building, running down hallways and past vampires. I ran past people who were getting leaped on and eaten by the vampires. There were dead bodies around all torn up, but there was no blood. The vampires were like the type of zombie to run full speed after you and jump on you like an animal. It was pretty scary. Then the last time the dream replayed it got a lot more detailed. The people I was with were actually memorable; there was a cute dark haired guy, and a blonde girl named Nicole, and this older lady with styled long hair who looked like an actress. We were all together, planning how to get out of the building before the vampires overran the place. But the next thing I know I was running through the halls again. I came to a large room where random people were barricading a pair of doors. Through the windows of the doors I saw Nicole being held by a huge grey skinned vampire guy with white hair. He was tall and muscular and glaring at me. He held Nicole by her shoulder and she looked terrified. The vampire said something like “let me through” and I hurried to get rid of the barricade so he wouldn’t kill Nicole. As I was removing the barricade a little circle button from the PlayStation controllers popped up in the air like it was telling me what to press to get rid of the barricade, and I began to mentally tap the circle button. Its kinda random because I am more of an Xbox person... When the door was open, the vampire sauntered away like a scary gorilla and left Nicole with me. The random people who had barricaded the door were gone. Nicole and I went up some stairs and found the cute guy sitting on some benches looking ragged. When he saw us he leapt to his feet and looked super concerned but relieved. Then the dream changed again and us three were in an open area that led directly outside. There were only a few of the mindless vampires and we could easily run past them. It was super bright and sunny out, and the sunshine weakened them and made them slow and lumbering like normal zombies. We ran out into a grassy field. The grass was long and came up to our chests nearly. We met up with the professor guy from earlier. He was standing at a low chain link fence. On the other side was a gated off apartment building. He said that some people were holing up there, but said “if the hummingbirds knew about this place, they’d completely destroy it.” Hummingbirds referred to the sentient vampires who apparently controlled the mindless ones like a hive mind or something. Not sure why they were called hummingbirds. I looked at the apartment and there already were some vampires clawing at its gates. One of them had a giant monster mouth, like a woman alligator. Our group stood around talking for a bit (maybe these standing around talking things come from watching too much Walking Dead). The professor guy was still talking, something about where we could go and what we should do. As he spoke, the cute guy kept whispering things at me, and even though I kinda had a crush on him, he was really annoying me. I walked away from him and looked around the field while trying to think of what to do, but then he was suddenly at my shoulders still trying to talk to me. I don’t know why it was so annoying, but I yelled “whatever! Shut up!” And walked away from him again. He looked bamboozled. We finally started to travel back across the field. In the grass I started to see that there were bodies laying everywhere. And just as I was starting to notice that some of them were getting up off the ground, group of vampires came hobbling out of the trees right by us. We all started to run to get out of the field, with vampires “waking up” all over. I had to jump over ones still sleeping. Some of them didn’t have legs, just a torso and moved with their arms. Nicole was ahead of me and I saw that she was being stupid about where she was running and about to get herself snagged by a vampire on the ground. I tried yelling stuff at her to help her, but I don’t think I actually said anything at all. The last thing I remember is a torso vampires quickly dragging itself toward her.
