Middle School Dance

I was in my sister’s room talking to Nicole (Zdzieba) about Brody. Then I was at a school dance in the Manatee cafeteria. I was sitting at a table talking to Lauren and I looked over at the table next to us to see Steven Incledon, who was sitting with Michael Cieslak and John Cavallo. Steven and I made short, awkward eye contact with each other. Lauren and I got up to get in line for food, and we were joined by Mason, Tommy, Samuel and a few other people. As we were waiting, Steven sprinted past us; for the rest of the night, I was secretly hoping he’d run back and talk to me.
