Mechanical logs

People were somehow riding these narrow logs like stick horses. I had no idea what was propelling the logs at first since the bottom of the log was just sliding along the ground, but then people began putting engines and all this high tech looking equipment on the log to make it go faster. There were huge logs that a lot people were riding along tracks that looked like very tall waterslides. Other people were trying to figure out the right angle to send them through. I still couldn't believe they hadn't found a better basic concept than logs.
