Girl friends parents

I finally met Lauren’s parents for the first time and it was horrible! First I shook her dad hand and said it was very nice to meet him and I guess I mumbled or something because he mocked me mumbling back and imitating me. Then I went over to her mom and introduced myself then tried to give her a hug but she jumped back. And said “mother” with a terrified look on her face and I’m like what I didn’t say that? and she’s like I can’t I just can’t. And then Lauren ditched me in the house and it was all very awkward
