Surprise visit

Mom and dad came home and I wasn't expecting them at all, so the house was a bit of a mess. Mom said started to get on her hands and knees and scrub the kitchen floors. I told her I would do it. I asked if they were back from vacation but she said no. Dad started to mess with his fishtank. I pretended that the one filter that's broken, just broke yesterday. He was making more water for the fish so mom told me to watch to see how he does it. He was doing it way different than mom showed me before they left. He was letting it run until it was clear and it was coming out brown. Then he said wtf is this green stuff? Then I noticed there was a bunch of algae in the water tank. I also asked him how u was supposed to get the algae off the inside de if the tank. That's all I remember.
