Aether & Lumine (Genshin Impact)

I remember being in a dark dungeon, looking through the eyes of Aether from Genshin Impact. I remember BEING him. We didn't trade bodies or anything, but I knew in my dream that I was him, and he was me. We were one and the same. (It was ironic, considering the fact that I chose to play as Aether on my account and have been maining him ever since.) I was with Aether's sister Lumine, and we were both stuck. There was this mechanism where I would press this button to open the barred cage, but only I would be able to leave. The button could only be pressed once a day. And once the button was pressed, I only have a limited amount of time before the door closes again, and have to wait another day. There was this one instance where I pressed the button, and both our doors opened. We were shocked, but once we made our move to leave, the door shut in our faces. We waited and I pressed the button each day. I thought that maybe there was a chance that both our doors would open again, but only my door opened. Lumine told me to leave this world... to leave without her. But I didn't want to. I just gave her a hopeful smile and said, "Everything's going to be okay, Lumine. We're leaving together." I watched her lean against the brick wall, her lip quivering with her gaze downcasted. She slowly slumped to the grown, croutched in a fetal position. Her hands clutched the thick metal bars of her cage. She grit her teeth, shaking unconcontrolably as sobbed quietly to herself. I reached through the bars and hekd her shoulders and did what I could to comfort her. The bright light coming from the exit slowly dimmed, as the door had shut.
