Stranger Things and high school

I was hanging out with an old friend I’ve known since middle school. But we were in high school at the moment. We will call him Joey. Me and Joey had a mutual respect for one another. Even though Joey was one of the most popular kids in school he always treated me with respect. It’s too bad we didn’t become better friends because he was a good dude. We were hanging out and he was telling me about some new kids coming to our school. He explained who they were and I’m a huge fan of Stranger Things IRL so immediately it clicked and I knew I was dreaming because I didn’t watch stranger things until after I graduated high school but I just I went a long with the moment. It jumped to the next day and I was walking to my high school from the grocery store that’s right next to it. I get to the main entrance and sign in because I was late. Walking through the halls everyone is acting weird. I make it to the S hall where most of my classes are and see Joey. He walks past me and he bumps my shoulder in a friendly way saying “we should hang out again soon homie.” I responded saying “for sure my dude just Hit me up whenever.” Moving down the S hall I notice some familiar faces. I walked towards a door where Mike from ST and a bunch of students and teachers were standing I then patted him on the shoulder, greeted him by his name and nodded my head. I slowly opened the door everyone was gathered around and seen a desk with someone hiding under it. I couldn’t make out who it was so I went in for a closer look. I finally get to the desk and peak my head behind it and it’s Eleven from ST crying. I moved forward and asked her what was wrong but before she could answer hopper came in and took her home. That’s pretty much IT Ha. no... ok.
