Failed Lucid Attempt

It started in this old, dark house. Me, Loretta, and mom were staying in it over vacation, perhaps. I have these thoughts and pictures of past movies I had seen in my head and I think I’m trying to sleep. The whole dream has a scary vibe to it. So I’m drifting to sleep and I see a figure of a woman through the cover over my eyes, (or so I think). And I start to scream and freak out and I’m in a room for like ever trying to get someone to help me. Finally, I just shoot straight up and run right towards her and leave the room. And I think there are ghosts from the movies in my head floating around. (Noah and the chick from the notebook and another famous movie couple) Loretta is gone from the home and mom had just woken up, so she was unaware and annoyed at me already. The end. PSA: This was after an attempt of reading on lucid dreaming and different potential material extensively. It wasn’t scary content, but I do remember mention of ghosts and SP; maybe my brain attached to those small details more than the main subject.
