Fate/Dragons: a short story.

I was the main role in the story, the one I love had a big role too. From the series, she was Saber. Dream starts and I'm introduced to the past, Gilgamesh, who was the king of Dragons, the unbeatable almighty master of all weaponary and magic, is after Saber, originally, he came from another planet in his dragon form and he commands a set of legendary Dragons. I'm told that he had a special relation to earth, he came to accomplish a task that seemed devilish to our Saber, and was stopped by her, Saber aka "King Arthur", wielded Excalibur and managed to injur Gilgamesh The Dragon... accomplishing a feat Gilgamesh never expected. Gilgamesh in his dragon form, flew back to his cave, resorting to a different more reasonable plan, going back in time and befriending Saber in his Human form... Unknown to her, previously to the events. He thought that if he could only explain she would understand and join forces with him, Gilgamesh adored Saber, from her first strike towards him, yelling vigorously how she will protect everyone... He took interest in her (king Arthuria, a woman in the role of king). Gilgamesh nests in his cave, far from earth, and rewinds time 20 years back, such immense time warping magic is costly, even for the mighty Gilgamesh... He lost the ability to use his dragon form, along with his memories.. he faints one last time and when he opens his eyes he finds himself alone, in an unknown place, Earth. Specifically, very close to Saber. Not remembering his past, he continues to live as if he were a human, meets Saber in her youth and teens and inevitably falls in love with her, she becomes a Knight and a King, with her invisible sword, Excalibur. Gilgamesh's body was too hurt and weak from the unexpected dimension shifting he's done, jumping into a time line where he exists twice. -From here, I remember the dream being told as if I AM the Gilgamesh who lost his memories, in love with Saber, who had the body and name of someone I love IRL. - Saber knew me as her friend by that point, she didn't know my feelings towards her. The day arrives and Dragon-Gilgamesh attacks, I can't help but get as close as possible to the fight... Before Saber managed to injur him, we saw each other...(Gil games saw me and recognized his human form), A slight pause and then he ran away abruptly, fleeing from the fight. As a normal folk, I was terrified, a black dragon, the size of a wide 2 story building when he's on 4s, looking straight at me with a focused stare... I thought I was going to get attacked. Gilgamesh flees and realizes the situation, he sees himself in his human form acting like a human and he connected the dots. Some days later, Gilgamesh chases me, it was night time and it felt like I was playing Skyrim... I ran between buildings and he sat on them, lowering his long neck down to look through windows and doorways, this happens a few times and I almost get caught a few times, until I really do. Gilgamesh doesn't harm me, but instead explains and uses some restoration magic on me.... My memories were mostly back... I knew my goal again, but at the same time, my memories as Saber's friend and a fellow human remained, I was torn between the two personalities. Knowing the risk, I explain Saber the situation and what I went through, first she didn't believe me, until I ordered Dragon-Gilgamesh to come down and bow before her, eyes wide open, she nods in belief. Although this is where another dilemma starts, King Arthur had a twisted sense of responsibility towards his(her) people, she would do anything necessary to protect everyone at the same time with no exceptions or sacrifices... But that doesn't apply to herself.... Knowing the truth, she decided to end her life in order to prevent a future catastrophe, I remember this first-person-view scene... Me and Gilgamesh did not agree on her methods, on a night few days later, Saber discovers she has no more time to think because the deciding future point is close, she slips out of her mansion and runs outside without her armor, Gilgamesh wasn't aware but I was, I looked for her and chased after her... She saw me but kept running, she knew I was gonna try to stop her. The final scene, she reached a neighborhood I know, right outside my grandparents house, I climb a set of stairs and reach her, she stopped. She was facing me, standing in place with her head drooped, I couldn't see her eyes, it took me a few seconds to realize she was crying, tears falling down, she straightens her head and look me in the eyes, I felt so bad seeing her like that, she didn't deserve this... She was always so kind... "Don't stop me!" -she roars while crying. I shake my head in refusal, crying from the sight... "Stay away from me!! *sniff*, I will hurt you!!" she roars with a broken voice again.... I cry even more in pain, knowing she's not gonna ever listen to me because all I was is just an un-significant friend after all, she must not understand why I'm so persistent. In a decisive rush, she jumps on a tall big street light rod, I begged her to stop.. I didn't have the strength to climb it after her, she looked back one more at me before yanking out the wires near the big battery, with her bare feet and skin touching the steel rod, she gets electrocuted and falls down unconscious... As she was falling I yelled "I love you ***" in pain (her real name) and then watched her body hit the cold ground, a pool of blood around her head... The dream ended a few seconds after the impact... - end - I never knew what was the upcoming catastrophe myself, my dream self knew but I can't recall... I have no idea what was my original goal as Gilgamesh too.
