Bad trip

We were traveling up the CA coastal inland valley on Hwy 101 towards Paso to pick up my kids from a school field trip. They weren’t due until the next day so we were going to stay at a beach town, which doesn’t exist irl, but it is a beach Resort I have visited once in my dreams perhaps 5 years ago. My husband and I both had the same idea to go there because it wouldn’t be too out of the way of picking up the kids. Before we reached he resort. However, I got a call from the school that the kids were back and needed to be picked up. Of course, we didn’t get to take advantage of our mini-vacation. I arrived at the pick up location which was in a rl Ca valley, but the town doesn’t exist any more than the resort did. I went to the car to collect my daughter and her eyes looked hazed over as though she had cataracts, only they were yellow and glowing. I was instantly concerned as she got out of the car and started waking off. She began acting erratic and unusual and she had began to walk down a river path towards the east. I think I thought she was infected with a zombie virus. I yelled after her to get back into the car and I told her teachers I would take her right away to the hospital. I reassessed her at my own vehicle and realized the eye effect was just a normal constricting of her pupils due to the dark, which is not logical irl since it was nighttime, but whatever! By then I determined she was normal so we headed back home which was south through the coastal valley. At one point the river was traveling along the road to our right and all of a sudden we were traveling by foot. There were a lot of Mexican people and Asian people on the trial just ahead of us. I looked up ahead and was alarmed to see 3 large dolphins jumping from out of the river in an arch. The river was running directly from the ocean, so I guess the dolphins didn’t realize they didn’t have the space to jump and one jumped so far out of the water that it landed in a nearby backyard. I could even hear the large “thump” of the dolphin as it hit the ground. I then sprinted as fast as I could to hopefully rescue the dolphin. I went to the front of the house and a Mexican lady was in the front yard,so I told her in quasi-Spanish this had occurred and she needed to hurry to get the dolphin. I don’t know spanish for words such as ‘dolphin’ so Again, whatever, more dream illogic. But somehow she understood and rushed to rescue it. I then ran back to my husband whom I found had collapsed to the ground on the trail just where I had run off from. I leaned over and touched his body and then his face and his face was still warm. I wasn’t sure if he was dead or not but I had a strong emotion associated with the prospect of my world collapsing around me with his loss. Since he was warm I had hope he was still alive. I called out for help. I woke up at that point and started telling my husband the dream irl. He gave me a few details the next morning which helped me remember., since complete memory of this whole dream had been lost by then. One trigger phrase brought it back. But nonetheless, it was a nightmare we agreed. Then as I started to drift back to sleep uncontrollably, which I did fight off due to fear. I was hearing and experiencing somewhat of a psychedelic trip and I swear I heard the shrieking scream of a demon from hell as a result of this endogenous bad trip, God help me! Reality was just not as it is itl, not by far. I was singing a song, yet my husband was singing a different song simultaneously. Curious how the mind can generate two distinct songs while in dream. Beeping electronic sounds and hypnagogic zaps. fk! Next thing I know my husband’s on top of me and he’s wanting to do it, but he was pressing on my inner thigh in the most ticklish way. But as dreams go, I couldn’t speak normally when I needed to so I ended up yelling at him “get off!” Which wasn’t what I meant at all. But he climbed off and started tucking his junk back in his pants and was looking humiliated. I tried to explain I didn’t mean it that way to no avail. Yeah, so that didn’t happen either.
