Let’s Talk About Jude

For the sake of anonymity, I will call a guy I’ve had a crush on Cameron and I guy that likes me Jude. The tea is that I know Cameron and I will probably never happen and I’ve been debating trying to go forward with Jude, but I’m awkward and scared and don’t know if I want to. Anyway, in the dream, Jude finally confessed to me that he liked me. He asked why I wouldn’t like him back. I explained that I did have a crush on someone else, but that it was over and I was just scared to move forward. Apparently it was my birthday so Jude gave me two tickets to see Dear Evan Hansen in New York, and he told me how beautiful and I was and all the things he loved about me, and you better believe I started crying because no one’s every done anything like that for me before. He asked if we could at least go on one date and I told him sure. It was just so weird and real when he told me all those things he loved about me and touched me, like I am shook. There were other parts of the dream where I saw a girl had the same prom dress as me, I went to someone’s house and they had a train ride around the neighborhood and were really nice, I was in Disney on a Peter Pan ride, etc.
