Overly Dramatic

I dreamt that I got dressed up and went to a restaurant by myself. I thought maybe I could meet someone. When I got there I sat at a table and saw that there was a bridal shower going on in the bar area. I got depressed and decided this was a bad idea and left. In the parking lot I couldn’t find my car. I was wondering around the parking lot when I saw Josh waiting outside of the restaurant next to the one I had been in. He saw me too and so I felt like I had to go over and talk to him. He told me he was there waiting for a date. He started telling me how he had gone into a store and a woman there had approached him and asked him out without preamble and he’d said yes. It felt like he was bragging and I got upset again. I started crying and cut him off while he was still talking and ran off. He ran after me and asked me what I was doing. I told him I was trying to find my car but I couldn’t. He then said “it’s right there” and I noticed I was about two cars away from it. He seemed confused and was looking at me like I was crazy because I was crying and couldn’t find my car even though it was right there. I was wearing a dress and I leaned back against my car and slid to the ground. I remember that the dress made it a very dramatic affect. I was about to tell Josh why I was upset but then his date showed up. So instead I told them about the dog that was shot yesterday and said that was why I was upset and crying.
