Ship sinking and club

A ship capsizes in a sunny storm. Two women, the only passengers, are thrown into the water. They find a life raft and are fine. I am also there, but it’s not clear if I was on the boat. They paddle towards shore, and realize that it’s shallow enough to touch the bottom and walk. On shore, we find a nightclub (in the daytime) with a bouncer. The first woman is waved through. I think I’m not going to get in, but I’m also allowed. The second woman follows. Inside is silence. There is a crowd of very fashionable looking people, many queer, just standing. There is no obvious bar. A large crowd of averaging looking folk are sitting in the floor, all staring at a point on a blank wall. I ask someone about this, and he or she says that they are paid to do this, and it’s some kind of ritual. The women emerge from a room in the back and we leave. It’s a very unsettling experience.
