I slept in late, so lots of disconnected fragments: I was on vacation on an island, but needed to get to the airport. There was a nice long hiking trail I’d taken in a previous dream years ago, but I didn’t have time. I took an aerial tram instead. We arrived in New York, and I couldn’t find my passport. Our bus waited at a bridge for a long time, and I was afraid I’d miss my flight. Later, unrelated: I was playing/living a video game, exploring abandoned buildings from a top down perspective and fighting enemies. It was easy. One building was labeled as a vault, and there was no key. An office had many switches and red/green lights. I deduced that we had to find the pattern that made them all green. After switching one, a dragon came and killed us with 52k frost damage. I realized we needed to be stacking frost protection armour, instead of ignoring it. The dragon wore a stack of a dozen bowler hats on its tail. Later, I was buying a George Saunders book at the university bookstore. My friend hated him, and was harassing another customer. The teller told me that Saunders was on campus, and I hoped I’d run into him.
