Inception dream

I dreamt that I was awake (everything was the same) and I was just lying in bed as I would normally wake up and I hear mum on the to my dad. She's saying that I was having night terrors all night but I was stuck in a trance that I could wake up. Maybe I'm just still going through those dreams now as my mother lays next to me in reality holding my hand through the bad dreams.
