10% Solution

There is an all-day LEC meeting with Finance Staff from the Big House. I am attending virtually from home. I hear "10% Solution" from Pat H and worry we are losing 10% of our budget. Not a big deal since we have been well under budget for years, except that added to the unfunded liabilities, our next report will look really bad. I fall asleep on the chesterfield playing with the dog. The kids wake me up to visitors: AC and MSP are sitting across from me in my living room. They have come from the meeting to discuss some concerns before the break is over and the meeting resumes. I wonder if they will be uncomfortable with the puppy. He is quite excited, moving from person to person. They play with him and smile. We don't talk about the meeting.
