My second encounter with SP was many years later. I was 23, had gone to sleep next to my husband per usual. I had a realistic dream about my sister. I dreamt that her and I were in this beautiful brand new house. We were in one of the bedrooms and we were laying on our stomachs on the new soft carpet. There was a mirror in front of us and I was admiring how beautiful and healthy my sister looked. We were both smiling and giggling. As I’m staring into the mirror I see this blurry figure climb onto my back. It looks like a woman with blonde stringy hair, but I can’t see her clearly. I try to tell my sister but I can’t move. All I can do is watch in panic as this female figure takes her hand and does a scooping motion into my back. I feel pain in my back, and when she brings her hand up to her mouth I see blood. I try to scream and warn my sister but I still can’t move. Finally I wake up and I’m in my bedroom and I can see my husband out of my peripheral. He is asleep. I try to turn on my side to face him but I can’t move. I feel pressure on my chest and my throat and try with all my might to just move my finger and touch my husband. This lasts what feels like an hour. Finally I break free and sit up gasping for air and my husband wakes up and asks whats wrong. I tell him sobbing and we sleep with the lights on that night. Or he sleeps... I’m too afraid to sleep.
