Switching dreams

My dream consisted of 3 distinct parts. Every time my dream would change it would hit like a blinding strike of lightening, all the power would start to surge, flickering lights, the works. Then the scene would be different. Different place. Different people. The first section of my dream involved me skipping class to go to work. I missed a test and everything. This a pretty self explanatory. I'm stressed with work and school. The next section got darker. I was at a party. The lights flickered again but the dream didn't change that time. Someone went missing. All the people around me I knew but I didn't know at the same time. I couldn't trust them. They panicked around me as more lights flickered and someone else would go missing. I had the feeling it was up to me to try and find them. I left the party and entered the woods behind the house. I found footsteps and a set next to it that seemed to just be someone being dragged along. Before I could think the follow it the lightening hit the sky again and the dream changed. Someone was after me in this third dream. I stood in a shower in a house I didn't recognize. The room was all glass windows expect for the walls that shifted into the house itself. It looked out onto a meadow that shifted further down to the ocean. The skies were grey waiting to storm. The water was running hot and the only light in the room was the grey shadows that illuminated from the storm clouds. I didn't know why but I didn't move from the shower. I felt someone was in the house though. Someone I didn't want to face. I let the water hit my face and it was as if I was thinking of a memory. It was odd. Daydreaming while I'm dreaming. I was standing next to a car that skidded off the side of the road. The sun was blazing and the jeans I had on didn't help. But still, a pair of arms stayed wrapped around and held me tight. The two people in front of me looked out toward the road with a twisted looked of concern and nervousness. I finally looked up to see who held on to me. I didn't recognize his face but he looked down once he felt my body try to pull away. A warm smile and genuine eyes appeared. He told me it would all be okay. Nothing would happen to us and he would never let go. I didn't know him but I felt safe and decided to lean back against him, letting him embrace me again. Once I came too at that point I did step out of the shower. The storm clouds continued to roll in. I was nervous to step out of the bathroom. Once the door opened I awoke. Never to know what was on the other side.
