This dream was weird, I'm having a hard time figuring out it's meaning. I was out on the water with a bunch of people - I guess we were on a boat, but maybe we were on the shore somehow. There was a large fishing boat, it kind of looked a little bit like a luxe yacht but also like a fishing boat, it was probably 40 feet long. We're looking at it and these young boys want to swim to it and get on it. They are swimming around and can't quite figure out how to board it. Then one of their moms goes out, swims to the boat, boards it and is encouraging the young boys to try to get on it. One of the boys has a lazy boy chair with him and I notice it start to sink. The boys one by one with the help of the mom get onto the boat, everyone is celebrating. It seems I am in the water now and I notice the boat is starting to sink, it's sinking so fast that it flips over and parts of the top of the boat slam down right above me and nearly hit me. Things start to go in a bit of a panic now. I'm in my house in Selkirk (kind of) but with the family that I lived with there. We are asked to grab things that are important to us for the journey, it's like we have to leave, subtley it's like there is an incoming war. I'm running around the house and have no idea what to bring. Me and brother Luc stand in the cupboard and talk about granola bars for a moment. I'm looking through the house, just looking for trinkets that I like...magnets, pens, images. I don't feel attached to anything. At one point my step sister Sam says in a whiney voice that my breath stinks...and I look over to my mom and then Sam says that my breath smells like water, with her face all squinched. With relief I look at my mom and say ohhhh it smells like water and me and her have a sarcastic exchange about how Sam not liking water must be the issue. I'm still kind of frantically running around the house with the awareness that my family is running around too, packing bags etc. I remember I have my backpack so I go to my room to get it and feel a lot more equipped to carry things now. I get my passport too. All while this is happening Sam is sitting on my bed in my room. I hear a tap at the door and she says it's Jewels, our golden retriever, and then I let her in and it is her. I asked how she knew, I was kind of amazed. Then she said she saw her through the crack in the door. The next scene kind of continues this theme in a way. We are meeting a lawyer as protesters to discuss safety, ways forward, our rights and the moves of the government. It is kind of like a war has begun and people are trying to make due. As I enter the room, there are long tables with chairs and the place is packed, definitely with more than 50 people in the room. It feels a little slapdash or something, we all seem to be young as well, almost like it's a high school class and we have that giddy energy. I want to sit over here with this person and then I can't do I go over to this spot and then someone asks me to sit over there. Eventually I squeeze into a spot and I feel like the guy next to me is flirting kind of or like yanking my chain. Then we settle in for the presentation and questions period. The end.
