Some other things

My alarm woke me up, so I don't remember a lot of my dream. I was walking somewhere and some lady had like 5 or so dogs, they were all really cute. I don't remember the breeds. The woman was older, white, skinny. She had a nice face but I don't remember her features and I don't think I've seen her before. She invited me in, to which I found myself walking into this complete stranger's house. She led me upstairs to this room and reached beside the bed nearest to the wall, pulling out a long rope. I got out of there as quickly as possible and continued walking elsewhere. She didn't chase me. There's a VERY huge gap in my dream here, but there was something about cutting dry ice with a knife like butter, and I tried to replicate it with some softer type of ice with a consistency of packed down snow. It was sorta like one of those ASMR videos where they cut the sand into squares and mess it all up. At another part of my dream near the end, we were getting ready for some sort of apocalypse (this used to happen quite often, but the apocalypse would be more in depth and displayed greatly in my dreams. This time, it was vague and wasn't shown at all given my alarm clock waking me up). I picked up some guy I knew (I don't remember who he was), slung him over my shoulders, and ran to a 'safe point' of sorts. I could feel myself straining to carry his weight while I ran and practically wheezing. When we made it to the safe point, I put him down. It was a beautiful and vibrant view of the water and sky and everything between. The colors were so beautiful, nothing synonymous with an oncoming apocalypse. I started to take pictures, so that if we were to perish and my phone was intact, someone would be able to see the view and pictures of my friends (I've done something similar before, contacting a friend or close family to speak to them one last time in an emergency.) There were a few Indian people behind us, but they didn't really talk to us. They just kinda did their own thing.
