The Sun Is Gone

The sun had disappeared and everytime it did, the atmosphere depleted—I don't know if there's scientific evidence behind that. It just felt like someone was pounding on my head—everytime the sun disappeared—and squeezing my temples. People who didn't have canned oxygen would turn green and zombie-like; many rouge animals were infected like that. Driving when the sun disappeared means installing oxygen in the air vents; I let the window down and almost passed out. Perhaps it wasn't the atmosphere that depleted, but the accumulation of carbon dioxide—I don't know. When the sun came back, everyone was able to breathe normally again and bathe in the sun, but the disappearances were unpredictable. It was a weird dream.
