Space

I was in a spaceship that was probs the size of the current ISS, and was on some mission far far far from our solar system, somehow we had managed to perfect fast travel, but as I was staring out in the direction of our solar system I saw a massive ball of matter explode and warp the space in the area. It looked like an eyeball that was entirely black and purple. I felt this sinking feeling in my gut and everything felt so still. I felt so alone, glaring into an abyss of sorrow knowing there was no where to return to.
