Concert

I dreamt I was at a huge talent show concert where anyone who had talent had the opportunity to sign up and head onto a huge stage. There was a long line and the crowd was very receptive to anyone who went up there. My brother and mother talked me into getting into line, and I made my brother go before me. The line went faster than I expected, and I got anxious. There was a computer you had to sign up on before you got onstage so they'd know what song you wanted with your performance. The man before us went up there and wooed the crowd but he was done in 20 seconds and I was next! I bailed out and ran away from the line, telling my mom I couldn't do it. She spurred me on until I felt more confident and I decided to run into the stage after all. However, I'd forgotten to pick any one song from the computer (I was planning on doing a routine to Fall Out Boy). So the computer was defaulted to a mix of songs. There was also a weird platform in the sky that we could climb stairs to and swing on a swing that was attached to it. It was crazy high up and I have a fear of heights but I tried to climb up anyway. As the different songs played out, I just improvised and hyped up the crowd by swinging over them back and forth. Suddenly I swung really high and I got a glimpse at the sky; the clouds were incredibly beautiful and it was as if time had stopped because I was admiring them. Then I felt a profound sense of calm.
