The Pods

The setting was in a square in my local town. I walked up to what I can only describe as a pod house. It was a brown octagon shaped house, no bigger than a king sized bed. There were 6 of these pods in total. Mine was the middle one on the left hand side. I walked up to it and got a small silver key out of my pocket. As I unlocked the door and walked in I realised that the houses looked small from outside but were bigger on inside. I walked straight into the bedroom which was very messy and the wardrobe had been moved away from the wall. I knew why it was messy, it was because when my sister and I had lived here a while ago we had to leave in a hurry so had grabbed what we could and left as soon as possible. As it began to rain outside I realised that the roof was leaking water, so I grabbed the nearest thing I could which was a H&M bag and tried to catch the water leaking through, getting soaked in the process. I then went into the bathroom to empty the bag into the sink. As I went to find a more permanent solution I came across a yellow bucket. I placed this under the leak but it quickly filled up as the rain got heavier. I threw the water into the sink, which was full of clothes, but missed, soaking the toilet paper on a ledge next to the toilet. I dumped the bucket on the floor and tried to clean up the wet toilet paper. My dream then switched and I was in a dock surrounded by large wooden warehouses. The path was made of interlocked bricks, however these bricks felt like they were placed on jelly so if you bounced the floor moved. I bounced along quite happily until the floor started to give way and I almost fell through. Everyone was walking towards a large wooden wall, it looked like a castle from the side. I was with a guy called Ben (no idea who he is in real life), my boyfriend Jake, my sister, my friend Dani and Nick Jonas(?). Earlier in the dream Jake and I had had an argument and broken up, however we still loved each other. Each of us switched partners, I was with Ben who liked me alot. As we got into the wooden wall (which was hollow) I looked out the window to see what looked like skeletons on fire dancing. Just as I went up a set of black iron stairs to get a better look everyone started to count down to midnight. I ran back down the stairs and shouted 'Happy New Year' along with everyone else. At this point Jake turned around and kissed me which I was very happy about, however I did feel guilty because Ben looked really upset. Fireworks then began to go off and we all watched them whilst linking hands and singing Auld Lang Syne. My dream then switched again and I was walking towards another six pods. These pods were the same as mine but just in a different location. These were the boys pod houses. I knocked on their door and went in. I walked up a corridor into a large room. It looked like a swimming pool. The pool wasn't filled with water though. It was filled with large, purple, foam cubes. Everyone was diving into them from a diving board. I had a few turns diving in, but on one of my dives I messed up. I touched the bottom of the pool. As I tried to reach the surface I felt I couldn't. Just like underwater I couldn't breathe when under the foam cubes. I started to panic and gave myself one final push. Luckily this pushed me to the surface where I took a deep breath and calmed myself. Nick Jonas asked if I was alright. He took me out the pool and to a set of French doors across the room. We looked out at the view. It was a wonderful beach at sunset and there were palm trees and people everywhere. I spotted my mum and sister. I got out my phone and tried to take a few pictures of them and the sea. That's when a police woman came up to me from the beach and told me I was only allowed to take selfies and not pictures of the beach, incase I took someone's picture and they didn't want me to. I looked across the sea and could see a large hill the size of a mountain (this hill is one that I live on in real life). Nick explained that our holiday was only for 3 days and that we would have to leave at 1.30 the next day. As I decided it was time to leave the boys pod, they all got out of the pool and went their rooms. I walked out and down the corridor. As I walked past the living room I realised all the boys were naked. I averted my eyes and quickly left. My dream then switched again and I was in a 'game' but it was in first person so it seemed like real life. There was a woman who greeted me and asked me why I hadn't been there for a while. The room (which was red) was filled with caged animals such as puppies, hedgehogs, badgers, lizards, hamsters, tortoises, rabbits and a 12ft python. My role in the 'game' was to look after the animals but seeing as I hadn't been there in so long the animals looked thin and their fur was falling out. I went round and fed and cuddled all the animals. However the python didn't want to go back into its cage. Dream then switches for a final time and I'm in an animal rescue centre. My real life manager was the manager of the rescue centre. She was showing me round the centre when an alarm went off and we all had to grab lab coats and plastic bags for our shoes. I grabbed a white coat and red plastic bags and followed her to a cafeteria. Apparently everything was fine so she took us over to a wall. We sat on the wall as she pushed a button. This made the wall start to move upwards, revealing a bank behind it. As people started to walk into the bank I spotted my boyfriend Jake. I shouted to him from the wall. At this point I fell off but luckily landed on a smaller ledge. As I walked up to Jake I noticed he had dyed his hair. He had an orange fringe, blue on the middle right side, green on the the middle left side and then purple at the back. Then I real life Jake woke me up. The End.
