This dream started with me and my girlfriend driving on an desert road. Nothing in sight but sand and a gas station. We pull up to the gas station, when something comes on the radio. She turns it up and it keeps repeating “take shelter, the invasion has started, nobody is safe” then I guess we disregarded the message completely as we walked into the gas station. Everything seemed normal till outside the earth started shaking and plane crashed into the sand from the gas station. Noises unlike I ever heard before came coming from the plane soon after. There were bodies all over the sand. Bent and broken people laying over the earth. As the gas station clerk began to call the authorities, the people started getting up. Their bodies correcting themselves. As they all start a slow walk to the gas station. The clerk starts yelling at us to grab the old shotgun he kept under the counter. The people were still marching toward the station. So the clerk tells us to stay inside while he goes outside and sees what’s going on. The people circle the gas station with at least a hundred. The gas station clerk comes running back to the store, telling us to lock the door and not let him in. Us freaking out we barricade the door. He’s yelling through the door that whatever he’s been infected with is in the air around these humanoids. He puts his face up to the window and tells us to run, as his eyes roll back into the back of his. Soon both eyes are cover in a shiny black coating. Telling us to open the door. I look over at Alex, and she’s crying. As I start talking to her, she removes her hands from her eyes and they are solid black. She says one last thing before it takes her. “Don’t let me die like this” not being able to shoot her I hide in the back room wondering how I wasn’t infected. Watching the things come in the building on the cameras. I put the barrel of the gun up to my chin, and right as I pull the trigger I woke up.
