Shot in the Head

I hear two short, loud bangs ring out from the other room. I become aware instantly that my daughter and husband have just been executed. I'm horrified and trying to process this new information. A male human, yet phantom presence glides into my room twice as fast as one might think is possible and immediately shoots me in the right side of the head. I eject from my body. I'm shocked and thankful that death is so easy. I feel a way that words haven't figured out yet. It's pleasant enough but it's not like any other pleasant thing I've experienced.
