are you on drugs?

so last night I slept earlier than usual. had a few drinks before it but was sober by the time I went to sleep. this was at about 10.30pm. my parents were at a party and came home and my mum entered and yelled "you left the front door open!!" and I just sat up, immediately ,with my eyes wide open and handed her my phone and was like, put it in the dustbin, and she's like what? I'm like take. put it in the dustbin. and repeated it quite a few times and then she began to ask me.if I had anything to drink. and then I said "no, kavyas birthday gift. wrap it. " and she's like you want me to wrap your phone? and I replied "kavyas birthday gift, wrap it" and at this point she and my father were worriedly discussing whether I was on drugs 😂 and then I snapped out of it and told them I was probably dreaming 😂
