So in this dream i was born again as a merman/fish/person and i had a bunch of friends and family i grew up with who were also fish people. Well one night i went to sleep and woke up in a huge fish tank with glass going all the way round. I could see below the floor; I was in the sky. It was a fishtank in the sky. In a laboratory in a ship in the air. Thousands of feet off the ground. You know when you go skydiving and you can see the ground as green and stuff? We only saw blue because we were so high up. We were way high up. Anyway what we gathered was that, looking around through the glass we could see we were part of some floating, skylit laboratory as mentioned before. Most of the ship was made of glass or this see-through material as a matter of fact. We had people who may have been doing experiments on me and my friends who were also in this tank. We try to escape the tank and we find a hatch leading to a sewer-like pipe. It leads downwards into a dark room where it’s green and murky and stuff and the walls are made of bolted stainless steel. I say something like “stay here guys, i’ll find more about this place so we can get out”. And so i find another hatch that leads upwards into where experiments might have been done on us: the laboratory itself. I climb a ladder or something after opening the hatch and find myself up in the laboratory. There is a large alligator-man right beside what appears to be a swimming pool in the floor that looks to be quite deep. He goes on to try to tackle me or grab me and, being the fast fish-person I am, go underneath his legs in time to go into the pool and see that somehow my friends and family found a way into this pool. The floor of the pool is glass. I punch the floor of glass and it breaks and all the water that the laboratory carried goes down with us; we start falling instantly in this awesome escape. The only thing going through my mind in the dream at this moment is that I’ve saved my species from harm and experimentation as we skydive down into the blue. And that’s quite cool.
