At a public place, looked rather like a store and maybe later transformed into a home setting, an unknown man (who I saw earlier the day before) with his pitch black dog (bigger than a labrador, body of a rottweiler) come in and toy around with what seems to be a skull of a small animal (cat like). The dog and man play a bit using up the space but when my dog Maya (white boxer) comes to greet, the man places the little skull on top of what seems to be a destination table in a store with folder t-shirts. I asked him not to place it there because Maya gets wind up because it looks like a toy, so Maya tries to take it and the black dog attacks her to bleeding wounds. First it seemed to come from her mouth, later her belly as well. My partner shows up and I start yelling to the man and the dog, pick up my own dog and tell my partner to go to the vet asap. My partner hesitates and doesn’t see the situation as serious as me but I convince him anyway- except that he is taking way too much time in tying his shoes, getting car keys, and drives extremely slowly to the vet. When we finally get there he’s just sitting in the waiting room with Maya without knocking on the vet’s door to explain it’s an emergency. (IRL I already lost a dog due to not taking action when needed/waiting too long to notice what was wrong. My (now) partner moves slow irl as well.
