Coney Island

I had a dream my dad and I were going to Brooklyn for the day. Despite the snowstorm we just had, it was a nice sunny winter day out there. We left early in the morning and saw a beautiful sunrise and pink skies on our way there. When we arrived, I told him that I knew a restaurant out there that I have been to, but my mind went blank and I totally forgot the name of it. So I googled restaurants near Coney Island (cause that's the section where we were nearest to) and a whole bunch of results popped up. Trying to remember the atmosphere inside the restaurant, I narrowed down the choices. From what I remembered, it was a casual diner-like restaurant that was spacious and was a few blocks away from the beach. I finally found it. Apparently, the restaurant I was looking for all along changed its name to Pablo's Restaurant and Diner. I saw the pictures on google and said to myself "That was it!" So we park and go inside. We sat at a booth next to a window and I was able to see the small close quartered houses and the power lines overlooking them and if you looked closely, you could see the ocean. My dad and I order a small breakfast and coffee. The wait for our food and the bill was horrendous! We were at the restaurant for almost an hour. Finally the bill came and they made a HUGE mistake with our total. We only ordered a few things and the bill came out to be $323! We grabbed the waiter and said something is definitely wrong with our bill because there were items that were on the bill that we didn't order and just the food alone that we ordered didn't cost nearly that much. The waiter noticed the mistake and printed is a new bill. The total was now $39.91. Much better now! So we pay and leave. All of a sudden, my dad was no longer in the dream and I was with a group of friends. They seemed like all acquaintances to me. We drove on this hilly scenic road to Coney Island and there was lots of greenery even though it was winter. I took pictures along the way because the view was just breathtaking! We finally pull up near the boardwalk and walk around to an area where there was a statue, a wishing well, and some flowers growing. My friends spotted out three famous people hanging out in that area with us. They assumed to be all actors as I was unfamiliar with their appearances. One of my friends yells, "Hey I want a picture with you!" And the famous actress with the black hair and black dress screamed "NOOO I'M NOT IN THE MOOD FOR THIS!!" and ran away. So much for that picture, I said to myself. I guess they have their days too. The famous crew left quickly after that and before we knew it, it was time to leave. I wanted to see the sunset but we were driving and this time we got unclear views of the ocean because the sky was quickly changing to dark. And off we went home.
