I had this dream where I was in gym class in school and the teachers were doing a Quidditch activity, like from Harry Potter. They split the field into two halves and had three goals on each side (normal soccer goals) and gave us a soccer ball in the middle, basically small soccer teams, which were like the chasers. Then they had two kid throwing dodge balls at the other team / catching the dodge balls before they hit their own teammates, like beaters kinda. There was a goalie for the three goals on either side like a keeper. Then there was one ‘seeker’ on each team, they had to stand to the side and hit a fastball pitched at them from a pitching machine at max speed, and hit the ball so it went through five consecutive hula hoops which our gym teacher had lined up on the ceiling. It had the public school gym weird energy to it, where some kids were tryhards and others (like me) didn’t care. We were all tired because the ‘seekers’ couldn’t do their fucking job and we had been playing for like two hours straight, and the gym teachers kept saying ‘It’s Quidditch! The game only stops when the seekers do their jobs!’ and the seekers were basically like ‘I’m so sorry guys’ the entire time because the hit they had to make was so hard. I was a ‘chaser’ and I was kinda trying, but I was so tired and sweaty that I was just trudging along. Also my team had to wear those horrible jersey things the schools make you wear and it was itching. I remember whenever it’d get near a goal, everyone would crowd around the ball and it was hard to do anything. There was one time in the game in the dream that I remember. We were all crowded around the ball at our end of the court. I’m like ‘what do we do, nobody can even move the ball’ and this chubby girl next to me (who looks like 5 years old) says ‘it’s okay, Hope is coming’ and then all of a sudden this girl came from behind and kicked the ball away. It goes flying straight into the other teams goal and I’m like ‘finally something happens’ and meanwhile the seekers are hitting frantically at fast pitch balls going like 100 mph. It was hectic and had the feel of pretty much any other middle/high school gym class game. No actual magic was involved, I don’t think.
