I grabbed my three year old son from somewhere here in Toronto and found a helicopter and fly from Toronto to Cuba; it took about 5 minutes. I didn't have a clue had to how to drive one and one I definately couldn't land one so as we got to Cuba and I felt like we were going to crash, I hooked him to the front of me and jumped out of the helicopter. I didn't even know how to parachute and had no idea where we were landing on the island. We got caught in some trees but luckily that cushioned the fall. We ended up in a rocky area and the moment we landed it started to pour. We ran under shelter but turns out it was someone house. As I get my son under the shelter, a man and woman come out and I tell them what just happened and I needed to get to my resort. I showed them the place on my phone in the maps section but for some reason the internet wasn't working at that time. He said it wasn't that far away and gave me directions. He said I would be safe. As we were about to leave, a commercial came on that showed one side with the pros and one side with the cons of traveling to Cuba with a child. There was only one pro and the rest were cons. I decided to take my chances and walk to my destination. I had no idea how long it would take me but I was prepared for anything. As we walk, it was like a Mardi Gras but in Cuba. I just kept thinking that I couldn't risk eating the food but we were going to be so hungry again soon and it wasn't safe until I got to the resort but no one could tell me where it was....they just said it wasn't too far.
