Last night I had a dream where I saved a kitten from railroad tracks. She was really aggressive and kept biting me when I tried to pick her up, but my mom said we could bring her home. On our way home, my dad was arguing with her because he was allergic to cats. (Somehow this didnt make dream me realize my dad is long past dead and wake up) We pulled over in the car and my parents kept arguing. My mom told me and my siblings to walk home (we weren’t far) and that it was faster to take Shackamoon Road. Just like Blazen Street, Shackamoon Road is another recurring fake location in my dreams. It’s a cute neighborhood hidden behind a gate with a moon shaped cutout. The houses are cute little fairytale cottages with mossy roofs, and everything is shaded by bright greenery and wooden gazebos. As my siblings and I continued on, my older brother told me never to talk to anyone on Shackamoon road. I opened another wooden gate so we could continue our walk. We were in a gazebo with a wire daisy decoration on the front. I took a picture with my phone as inspiration for my Webtoon, and suddenly saw on the side of the gazebo a little flower. I picked it up, and directly in front of me was a house with two children. Twins. The little girl didn’t seem to have much interest in me, but the boy did. They both had brown hair and startling green eyes. The boy asked me to play with him. My brother shook his head no, and the boy said “Come on! We’re the nicest republicans you’ll ever meet.” That made me snort. I climbed onto the fence of their deck and said hello, and I noticed they had a music stand up there. I didn’t have my glasses on, so I couldn’t see what instrument it was for. I asked instead. “It’s not for an instrument, we only sing,” the boy said. “Me too! Can I sing with you?” The girl, who had been very reserved this whole time, said “You probably shouldn’t do that.” “Come on, I have green eyes and brown hair just like you!” I showed them how my blonde hair was dark brown at the roots and explained that I get it colored. The children agreed to sing with me. We took a breath in, and just before I began to sing I woke up.
